毛江玉,研究员,博士生导师。196512月生。1988年毕业于北京大学地球物理系天气动力学专业,获理学学士学位;19881995年在内蒙古自治区气象局从事短期气候预测业务及相关科研工作;1998年在北京大学获硕士学位;2001年于开云登录入口手机版 获博士学位。自20017月起在开云登录入口手机版 大气科学和地球流体力学数值模拟国家重点实验室从事科研工作。20032004年和2006年先后访问香港城市大学。对过渡季节副热带高压形态变异与亚洲季风爆发的关系进行了系统研究,提出了“季节转换轴”的新概念和表征夏季风爆发的新指数;发现西太平洋台风是触发南海夏季风爆发的机制之一;揭示了热带大气低频振荡(MJO/ISO)对江淮流域夏季降水季节内变化的影响以及对台风生成的调制作用。揭示了南海夏季风季节内振荡的主模态及其年际差异以及华南初夏降水的年际和年代际变化。已在国内外核心期刊发表论文70余篇。

曾主持中国科学院知识创新工程重要方向项目和多项国家自然基金面上项目,现担任973项目课题组长以及《气候与环境研究》编委。
